TWO-PART TITANIUM OIL PANS

Titanium Oil Pan System

The Racing Products Division of Diversatech, Inc., a precision sheet metal fabricator, is proud to announce the introduction of a unique, two-part titanium oil pan system. Developed in conjunction with several Top Fuel race teams, the system provides extreme blowout containment as well as a cost-effective means for repairs.

This innovative, patent-pending system consists of a lightweight titanium shell surrounding an aluminum liner which is the actual oil pan, complete with all necessary baffles and windage tray. The aluminum pan, designed with an interference press fit, sits inside the titanium shell and is completely removable and replaceable. In the event of an engine explosion, in most cases, the outer titanium shell remains intact, while the expendable inner aluminum shell absorbs the brunt of the damages. The aluminum can then be removed and a new liner easily - and quickly - installed. As an added bonus, the entire two-part system weighs only a pound and a half more than a conventional setup.

The pans are currently available for both KB- and TFX-style engines.
